Attorney Presentation Skills Workshop
Featuring Shelley Bamberger
Tuesday, November 27
9 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
3.0 hours of general CLE credit
Whether you’re advising clients, working on transactions, researching a complex
issue or presenting in a courtroom, presentation skills are vital to your success. This
presentation skills workshop is for litigators, mediators, counselors—all lawyers. While
most attorneys go into the courtroom or boardroom prepared for legal information,
their presentations fall short due to inadequate persuasion skills or ineffective visual
support.
In this workshop, you will learn how to:
• Improve 1-to-1 communication with clients
• Conduct more effective conference calls
• Present better to both small and large groups
This is an interactive workshop. Attendees will volunteer to present and receive group
feedback in a fun, yet effective format. A positive and constructive environment
will help you present with confidence and gain insight from your audience. You will
improve your ability to communicate through sharper focus, clearer messages and
enhanced persuasive skills.

Newly admitted to the Ohio Bar and looking to satisfy
your Supreme Court mandated New Lawyer Training
(NLT) requirement? Look no further than the CBA. For
your convenience, over 20 NLT programs are planned for
2013. Each of these programs will take you a step closer
to completing your NLT requirement while also allowing
you to rub shoulders with other young professionals and
established attorneys.
All newly admitted attorneys should mark their calendars for the CBA’s November
12 NLT program. This three-hour program will satisfy a portion of the NLT require-
ment for new lawyers participating in the Ohio Supreme Court mentoring program, as
well as those who have not opted into the mentoring program. The program, “Profes-
sionalism, Client Funds & Law-Office Management,” will run from 1 to 4:15 p.m. and
is accredited by the Ohio Supreme Court CLE Commission. Registration for CBA new
lawyer members is $45. This is the last time this program will be offered locally in
2012. To register or for more information on NLT programs, please call (513) 699-4028
