The Themis Award is the highest award given by the Cincinnati Bar
Association for truly extraordinary service by an attorney to the Cincinnati Bar
Association, the legal profession and/or the general community. The recipient
must display a high level of commitment, dedication or courage.
The Trustees’ Award is presented for outstanding service by an attorney to the
Cincinnati Bar Association, the legal profession and/or the general community,
which displays a high level of commitment, dedication or courage.

Community Service Award
Presented in memory of John W. Warrington, this award recognizes
an attorney who has performed extraordinary volunteer community
service. The recipient must be a CBA member and must have spent a
minimum of three years as an attorney.

John P . Kiely
This award recognizes a trial lawyer for possessing
outstanding trial skills and demonstrating the highest
degree of professionalism, civility and ethical standards in
his or her daily practice. Nominees must be members of the
Cincinnati Bar Association.
