What are you hoping the
Foundation can accomplish
I would like to raise our ability to give to the community
by encouraging attorneys to increase their gifts to the
Foundation. As a longer term goal, we would like to lay the
ground work to build a true endowment for the Foundation
through major gifts and planned giving. This endowment
would help us through hard economic times and allow us to
do long range planning for strategic grant making.
What is your favorite Foundation event?
Rock the Foundation is definitely my favorite event. It allows
attorneys to get together in a fun atmosphere that is so
different from what we typically do. It’s a great social event
that allows us to really see each other in a different way.
Why do you think the Cincinnati Bar Foundation
is such a worthy cause?
The Foundation’s purposes advance attorney visibility in the
community and directly assist the attorney in education,
administration of justice, and helping the poor, elderly and
those in need of legal services. This mission is important to all
How would someone begin to get involved with
The first way to become involved would be to serve on one of
our many different committees. We can also use attorneys
who will be strong supports of our 50/50 Campaign and
encourage all of those in their firm to get their donations
for the year into the Foundation. For those with little time
for additional commitment, rest assured that you financial
