The Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati is represented on the
board of the CBA. The independent group is an affiliate of the
National Bar Association, was founded in 1975. It works in the
community to improve the administration of civil and criminal justice;
to solve problems which are peculiar to African American Lawyers; and
to see that all lawyers and law students in the Greater Cincinnati
area, regardless of race, color, creed, religion, national origin or
gender are given the opportunity to share equally in the benefits of
the legal profession. The group shares a RoundTable with the CBA to
work together on a variety of projects.
