Kirsch, a partner in Baker Hostetler’s Cincinnati office and registered patent attorney, has represented companies in more than 100 patent and intellectual property litigation matters. He has testified before, and advised members of, the United States House of Representatives on various proposed patent reform legislative initiatives. He is the primary author of the Patent Local Rules for the Southern District of Ohio. The former chair of the CBA Intellectual Property Litigation Committee, he is also a leader of Baker Hostetler’s intellectual property Cincinnati team. Prior to joining Baker Hostetler, Kirsch served as the head of the patent litigation practice at Taft Stettinius & Hollister. In addition, he previously led the legal services department for Luxottica Retail (LensCrafters, et al.). Kirsch is a frequent presenter on current issues in patent litigation.
