The Ohio Department of Commerce is seeking to immediately add 5-10 hearing officers to preside over administrative proceedings for its Divisions and programs, including the Medical Marijuana Control Program, the Manufactured Homes Program, and the divisions of Financial Institutions, Industrial Compliance, Liquor Control, Real Estate & Professional Licensing, Securities, State Fire Marshal and Unclaimed Funds. Hearing officers will be independent contractors working on an “as needed basis” from Dec. 15, 2017–June 30, 2019. Candidates with 5+ years of litigation/adjudicative experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
