The cornerstone of the Cincinnati Bar Association is its dozens of committees. Open to all members of the Bar, the committees include practice committees — which focus on a particular area of the law — and committees which are more demographic, like the Women Lawyers and the Young Lawyers Section. There are also appointed committees which carry out specific tasks on behalf of the Bar, such as the Board of Trustees, the Grievance Committee and the Admissions Committee. Membership in Bar committees includes admission to regular meetings as well as — in the case of practice committees — targeted CLE sessions. Committee members are also eligible to participate in online discussions through LinkedIn.
