FAQs for CLE eLibrary (e-handouts)


  1. How will I get my materials if there will be no hard copies handed out at the seminar?

You will receive an email before the seminar with a link and instructions to download your materials. If you do not receive this email at least 48 hours before the seminar, please call the CLE Department at (513) 699-4028.

  1. To which email address will my e-handouts be sent?

Your e-handouts will be sent to the email address on file with the Cincinnati Bar Association. Please verify that you have provided your current email address to the CBA. You may do so by contacting the CBA at (513) 381-8213.

  1. Will there be WIFI at the seminar?

Yes, WIFI will be available. But, we strongly recommend that you download the materials to your device before you come to the seminar. In addition, please ensure that your device is fully charged before you arrive at the seminar.  While there will be opportunities to charge your device during program breaks, we cannot guarantee that you will have access to an electrical outlet during the program.

  1. Will I be able to charge my device at the seminar?

Yes, power strips and/or charging stations will be available for use during program breaks. The CBA is not responsible for devices left unattended.

  1. What if I want a hard copy of the seminar materials?

You may purchase a hard copy of the materials for a small additional fee when you pre-register for the program or by calling the CLE Department at (513) 699-4028. (Fees vary per seminar. Please refer to the individual program brochure for specific pricing).

In order to ensure that a hard copy is made and reserved for you, please register or call at least seven business days before the seminar.

  1. What if I don't pre-register? How will I receive my materials?

Walk-in registrants who bring a device will receive instructions to download the e-handouts at the seminar for no additional fee. Walk-in registrants will also receive an email after the seminar with instructions to download the materials at no additional fee.

A limited number of hard copy materials will be available for purchase for a small additional fee (in addition to the walk-in registration fee). The CLE Department recommends pre-registration and cannot guarantee that hard copy materials will be available for all walk-in registrants.

  1. What format will the e-handouts be provided in?

The e-handouts will be provided in an indexed and searchable PDF format.
