The Cincinnati Bar Foundation is a grant-making organization that has been in existence for more than 40 years. In the last five years alone, the Foundation has provided almost one million dollars in funding to educational and charitable organizations. While we support many programs of the Cincinnati Bar Association, we are also interested in providing funding to worthwhile programs in the community that further our interest in promoting justice and education of the law. Justice and the legal system reach far beyond the courtroom, and touch all of our lives.
The Foundation conducts two grant cycles per year, typically in April and October, with application deadlines at the end of February and the end of August respectively.
Over the past year, the Cincinnati Bar Foundation has awarded $166,170 in grants to organizations and programs serving the needs of the legal profession and the community. This accomplishment has only been possible through the generous support of the legal community.
