Domestic Relations

Purpose

The purpose of the Domestic Relations Law Committee is to act as liaison between its members, the judiciary and the CBA in the area of family law. The committee encourages its members to meet and confer in regular meetings and through the sponsoring of CLE seminars.

A Message from the Chair

Timothy A. Tepe

“I am inviting all Cincinnati Bar Association members to attend any of the monthly meetings of the Family Law Committee. The monthly meetings generally include a report from a representative of the Domestic Relations Court about new issues and procedures for practice in our local Court. This is also an opportunity for those at the meeting to present requests or ideas for changes in the practice procedure to court administrators. The Committee meetings often present speakers on various topics touching upon the practice of family law. In addition, the meetings are a great place for lawyers to ask other experienced family lawyers for their ideas on or approaches to whatever issues you may be struggling with in your own cases. Finally, you might get a free cookie and occasionally even a lunch. So, please feel free to attend our meetings to keep current on your family law issues and practices.”
