The Employee Benefits Law Committee of the CBA provides education and networking, mentoring opportunities and a forum for organizing coordinated responses to government regulations for employee benefit practitioners.

A Message from the Chair

The Employee Benefits Committee meetings cover topics ranging from health and welfare benefits, retirement benefits and executive compensation. We generally discuss up and coming topics of interest, as well as, discussions on how best we can serve our clients as employee benefits practitioners. The monthly meetings are only one way to learn about trends and updates in this evolving area and network with other employee benefits professionals.  Another excellent way to continue to expand your knowledge is to attend the annual employee benefits conference sponsored by the Committee each June.  At this conference, local practitioners, the Internal Revenue Service and the Department of Labor all share their insights on current and up-coming hot topics.  This conference has become an annual tradition for many throughout the area. We invite anyone with an interest, regardless of practice area, to attend our meetings and share in our thought-provoking discussions on employee benefits as a practice.
