A Message from the Chair

C. Edward Noe

“As chairman of the Municipal Court Civil Practice Committee I welcome any member who practices civil litigation In the Municipal Court.  The committee has always worked closely with the Municipal Court's Clerk office to maintain efficient handling of the large volume of cases that are filed in the Municipal Court.  The committee attempts to bring issues regarding matters of concern to the practitioners who regularly practice in the Municipal, to the attention of the Judges and the Clerks so that efficient and cost effective procedures aid in the administration of Justice. The Committee also strives to keep its members abreast of any changes which occur to execution remedies or other changes in the law that affect a great many of the cases filed in Municipal Court, whether they be collection actions, replevins or evictions. The committee is currently working on developing a forms library, a discussion group, and working towards an annual.”
