Women Lawyers Section Announces Awards

2016 Judge Julia A. Stautberg Award

Jean Geoppinger McCoy
White Getgey & Meyer Co., LPA

In memory of Judge Julia A. Stautberg, the Women Lawyers Committee presents this Award to Jean Geoppinger McCoy for her exemplary service to the CBA and the community. In her career as a trial lawyer, Jean has developed a strong reputation for skill, zealous representation of her clients and a high level of professionalism. In addition, she has served on both CBA and CBF boards, culminating in her role as CBA President, the seventh woman to serve in that role. Another example of Jean’s contribution to the Bar is her role in the revival of the Potter Stewart Inns of Court. Without her leadership, this program would not be the success it is today. Congratulations and thank you, Jean!
