Purpose

The Women Lawyers Committee of the Cincinnati Bar Association creates opportunities for professional and personal connections among women engaged in the legal profession; provides training and philanthropic opportunities for its members and other members of the bar; and serves as a presence and voice for women attorneys in the community.

Women Lawyers Section Accepting Award Nominations

The WLS is accepting nominations for the 2016 Julia A. Stautberg and Rising Star Awards. If you know a deserving female colleague, please send in your nomination no later than March 11.

Judge Julia A. Stautberg Award - Nomination form
In memory of Judge Julia A. Stautberg, this award is presented to a female CBA member attorney for exemplary service.  Through her accomplishments in 2015, the honoree reflects the principles, integrity and professionalism of Judge Stautberg.  Judge Stautberg served as a Hamilton County Municipal Judge and was the sixth woman President of the Cincinnati Bar Association.  

Voice Award - WLS 2016 Rising Star - Nomination form
The Voice Award is presented to a female CBA member attorney, under 40 for exemplary service.  Through her distinguished service, the honoree has made significant contributions to the legal/general community and reflects the highest principles of legal profession.

 

Coffee & Conversations

The CBA Women Lawyers Coffee & Conversations are informal networking meetings designed to engage members in topics important to women’s success in all areas of life: personal, professional and family.

Coffee & Conversations are held the third Friday of every month at The Booksellers on Fountain Square, 505 Vine Street, downtown Cincinnati.
