The Cincinnati Bar Association, founded in 1872, is an Ohio not-for-profit corporation, the members of which are attorneys principally practicing in Hamilton County, Ohio. Its mission is to maintain the highest professional standards among attorneys, to enhance the professional competence of attorneys, to improve the administration of justice, to serve the needs of members, and to provide law-related service and education to the public.

  • One of the oldest and largest metro bar associations in the United States
  • Current membership of more than 4,500, including attorneys, paralegals and other legal professionals
  • More than 60 professional practice and board level committees
  • 90-100 annual continuing legal education programs
  • Dozens of programs/events designed to serve the needs of the community
  • The CBA's charitable arm, the Cincinnati Bar Foundation, was founded in 1961 and is the only law-related charity in the Greater Cincinnati area
