Modest Means Program (MMP)

This program is intended to bridge the gap for those individuals who
do not qualify for legal aid or pro bono programs.
The MMP is a reduced fee program and will not cover all areas of law

Modest Means Covered Areas of Law

1. Chapter 7 Bankruptcy – Dischargeable debts are promptly erased. Trustee determines if there are any assets with net value ("equity") after deducting liens, exemptions, and costs of liquidation. Usually, the Debtor retains all assets.
2. Uncontested Divorce: With Children: All Parenting Issues and All Asset, Debt and Liability Issues have been resolved to the parties’ mutual satisfaction.
3. Uncontested Divorce: No Children: All Asset, Debt and Liability Issues have been resolved to the parties’ mutual satisfaction.
4. Child Custody – Custody case not involved with a divorce where both parties agree to the majority of terms.
5. Small Claims Collections – You have received a judgment in Small Claims Court of at least $2000 and need assistance to collect.
