Press Release: Free Consultations for Veterans
Cincinnati Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service to Offer Free Consultations to Veterans
CINCINNATI—The Cincinnati Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral Service is celebrating Independence Day by beginning to offer free legal consultations to veterans of the US military. All veterans who call LRS will receive a free 30 minute consultation with an attorney specializing in the area of practice needed.
When placing a call to LRS at (513) 381-8359, callers should mention their veteran status to be connected with an attorney who will offer them a free consultation. This new program will continue indefinitely.
“Leaders with the Lawyers Referral Service and our committee agreed this would be a great way to for our profession to show support for our military veterans. Then and now, veterans and their family members sacrifice on many levels to defend our Constitution and the rule of law.” said Ryan Ruehle, chair of the Cincinnati Bar Association’s Veterans and Military Law Committee.
The Cincinnati Bar Association has operated its Lawyer Referral Service since 1943. The LRS maintains a panel of more than 250 attorneys and makes complimentary referrals in most areas of the law. Referrals can be made to an attorney located in a specific neighborhood.
