Greater Cincinnati Foundation Board Appointment Nominations Being Accepted
The Greater Cincinnati Foundation (GCF) is the Tristate region’s community foundation. Founded in 1963 it currently has more than $400,000,000 in assets and contributes significantly to the region’s worthy causes through annual grants.
The Cincinnati Bar Association (CBA) will appoint one of its members to the GCF Board for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2014. That individual would be eligible for a second three-year term. To be considered, an attorney must have at least ten years of practice and membership in the CBA. The individual should have a prior history of community service and commitment. Prior service in the CBA is a prerequisite, with consideration given to prior CBA Board members.
If interested, send a letter to Anthony Reiss, Chair, Nominating Committee, Cincinnati Bar Association, 225 East Sixth St., #200, Cincinnati, OH 45202. The letter should detail your past community and CBA involvement and should indicate why you believe your appointment would benefit both the GCF and the CBA. Letters must be received in the CBA offices no later than September 20, 2013.
