Richard T. La Jeunesse Named CBA Real Property Law Practitioner of the Year

Richard T. La Jeunesse has been selected at the 2013 CBA Real Property Law Practitioner of the Year. Richard practices at Graydon Head & Ritchey in the areas of real estate, environmental, construction and international law. In the words of his nominator, “Richard has been a high-quality real estate attorney for over three decades, known for his thoughtfulness and thoroughness. He was one of the first local real estate attorneys to recognize the importance of environmental implications on the real estate practice in the early 1980s and he has been on the forefront of the ‘green building’ concepts as a LEED certified attorney.  He has been honored by his peers both for the quality of his legal work and for his extensive community involvement.  He is often a presenter or panelist at real estate continuing legal education programs (including many times for the CBA Real Property seminar) and I know that whether in putting together a complicated real estate deal or his presentations for the CBA seminar—he can always pull a rabbit out of the hat.” La Jeunesse is also a talented magician! He will receive the award at the luncheon for the CBA’s Real Property Law Institute on December 13.

The award, in its sixth year, is presented annually to a practitioner with outstanding achievement, contribution, and leadership in the practice of real property law.  Prior award winners include:
