Uniform Bar Exam Survey

From the Supreme Court of Ohio, November 2, 2017:

Since 2011, an increasing number of jurisdictions have begun using the standardized Uniform Bar Examination prepared by the National Conference for Bar Examiners as part of their bar admissions process.  With this in mind, on August 1, 2017, Supreme Court of Ohio Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor established the Task Force on the Ohio Bar Examination.  The task force is charged with evaluating the feasibility and efficacy of implementing the Uniform Bar Examination as an alternative to Ohio’s current bar examination process.

As part of fulfilling its charge, the Task Force has created a brief online survey designed to collect the perspectives of Ohio attorneys and law school faculty, students, and staff about this potential change.  In order that we may receive your input, we ask that by November 17th you complete the survey available at this link:

If you would like more information about the Task Force or the differences between the Uniform Bar Examination and Ohio’s current bar examination, please visit this website:

Participation in this survey is voluntary and your responses are completely anonymous.  Your feedback is greatly appreciated.  If you should have any questions regarding the Task Force or the survey, please do not hesitate to contact Supreme Court of Ohio staff at
