The Crown Act is a groundbreaking piece of legislation that prohibits discrimination based on natural hairstyles associated with race or ethnicity. This program provides an overview of the Crown Act, including its history, purpose, and key provisions with respect to  (1) religious; (2) gender; and (3) cultural identity grooming issues in the workplace.

The program also explores the legal and social implications of the Crown Act, as well as strategies for advocating for its adoption and enforcement. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the impact of hair discrimination on individuals and communities, as well as the importance of promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of society.
