June 24, 2024 marked the second anniversary of the Dobbs decision which overturned Roe v. Wade, the case that for almost 50 years protected the constitutional right to abortion in the United States. States can now set their own policies protecting or banning abortion without any federal standard protecting access to abortion and this has led to drastic changes in the landscape of abortion access across the U.S.
This hour-long seminar will provide an overview of how reproductive rights have changed since the Supreme Court's 2022 decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization.
Presented by:
Deborah Machalow, Assistant Professor of Law, University of Toledo College of Law
