This timely program will provide a practical, on-the-ground perspective on the evolving immigration landscape in Minnesota, with a focus on the role attorneys are playing in navigating complex legal questions connected to federal immigration enforcement activity. Featuring leadership from the Minnesota State Bar Association and the Hennepin County Bar Association, this conversation will center on how the legal community is responding, collaborating, and supporting clients, courts, and the community.

Cheryl Dalby, 
Minnesota Bar Association, CEO

Since 2019, Cheryl Dalby has served as the CEO of the Minnesota State, Hennepin County, and Ramsey County Bar Associations. Previously, she was Executive Director of the Ramsey County Bar Association and an attorney at Gislason & Hunter, LLP. Cheryl earned her BA and JD from the University of Minnesota.

Norman Pentelovitch, 
Hennepin County Bar Association, President-Elect

Norman Pentelovitch serves as the President-Elect of the Hennepin County Bar Association and is a Director and Assistant General Counsel of Enterprise Risk Management at 3M. Previously, he was an attorney and shareholder at Anthony Ostlund Louwagie Dressen & Boylan, PA in Minneapolis, an associate at Wilkinson Walsh + Eskovitz, and an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in Washington, D.C. Norm earned his BA from George Washington University and his JD from Georgetown Law.
