Description:

Professor Slater and Mr. Burkhardt will review key issues arising before the second Trump Board that will have a broad impact on employment practices, including work rule changes, non-compete restrictions, severance agreement provisions, social & political action, employee communication, disciplinary policies, and organizing activity.  They will also discuss the new General Counsel priorities, the vacating of prior GC memoranda, and the fate of Biden Board election and other rules.   

Presenters:

Prof. Joseph Slater, Distinguished University Professor and the Eugene N. Balk Professor of Law and Values at the University of Toledo College of Law, who teaches and writes extensively on Labor Law and Employment Law.

James Burkhardt, Esq., OSBA Certified Specialist – Labor & Employment Law, who chairs the TBA Labor & Employment Law Committee and the OSBA NLRB CLE Committee and is a frequent lecturer at local, regional and national forums.
