11 a.m. The Process to Acceptance: Transgender Issues and the Law

This presentation will focus on the past, present, and future of transgender issues and the law.

1 p.m. The Only Anatomy that Matters for Gender Marker and Name Changes in the State of Ohio: The Anatomy of the Process

This presentation will address legal name changes for Transgender people (and others who may not identify as transgender in Ohio and the procedure for changing gender markers on Ohio documents.
2 p.m. How to Discuss Gender Non-Conforming Issues in the Courtroom
Josh Langdon, Esq., Josh Langdon LLC
This hour will be spent discussing what it is like to give testimony to the court when the issue involves a transgender or gender non-conforming person. We will also discuss the pros and cons of giving in-court testimony versus other ways to submit evidence such as letters, affidavits, and medical records.
