Please join the Bankruptcy Practice Group for a virtual roundtable discussion on the current climate in bankruptcy, how we as a bar are dealing with the pandemic, and preparing for what is anticipated to be a surge in bankruptcy filings in the aftermath of the rising levels of unemployment and economic hardship. This meeting will feature:

  • Molly Simons Esq., Sottile & Barile, Attorneys at Lawspeaking to how creditors are offering relief to consumers. 
  • Tammy Stickley, Esq., Office of the Chapter 13 Trustee, discussing how the Chapter 13 Trustee’s office is conducting 341 meetings and how they are reviewing requests for plan modifications and suspensions in response to General Order 42-1. 
  • Ryan Cunningham, Esq., law clerk to the Honorable Beth A. Buchanan, reviewing the general orders issued by the Court related to the pandemic. 
  • Andy Ruben, Esq., Minnillo & Jenkins Co. LPA, speaking on the provisions of the CARES Act that directly affect bankruptcy practitioners and debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.
