More about Pro Seniors
Founded in 1975, Pro Seniors is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping seniors maximize their independence and quality of life through legal and long-term care advocacy, outreach, and education. We provide no-cost civil legal advice and information to more than 7,000 Ohio seniors every year through our Legal Helpline. In addition, our staff attorneys provide no-cost legal representation to seniors in Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Hamilton, and Warren counties on select issues not commonly handled by private attorneys. If a senior’s problems cannot be resolved by our Helpline or staff attorneys, Pro Seniors attempts to match the senior with a private attorney on our Helpline Referral Attorney Panel (HRAP) who will handle the matter. The demand for referrals far exceeds the capacity of our current panel.

Additional volunteer opportunities are available with Pro Seniors’ Legal Helpline, Ombudsman Program (advocating for long-term care residents) and Senior Medicare Patrol (providing outreach and education to empower seniors to detect, prevent and report healthcare fraud, scams, and identity theft).
