Heis “Women Worth Watching,” an award that energizes, inspires, and recognizes women who have demonstrated high levels of leader- ship. Active in the community, Heis currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of Pro Bono Partnership of Ohio. She served for five years on the Grant Review Committee of Impact 100, an organization that awards transforma- tional grants to nonprofits in the Cincinnati area. Heis works to advance the skills of other attorneys and is a longtime member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI). For the last seven years, she has served as a member of DRI’s Law Institute. Jefferson is a graduate of the Univer- sity of Cincinnati College of Law, and Miami University, where she received a B.A. in Public Administration. She is licensed to practice in Ohio.
    It is with heavy hearts that Wood + Lamping announces the recent passing of
Joseph Robinette.
Joe passed away on August 31, 2021, at age 59. He was a graduate of Chaminade Julienne, University of Dayton Law School, and a respected business law attorney
for Wood + Lamping. His practice focused
on corporate transactions, commercial
agreements, antitrust counseling,
intellectual property (IP) law and licensing, and unfair competition law.
Even though his tenure at Wood + Lamping was relatively short, Joe made a significant impact at the firm. His Wood + Lamping colleagues often referred to him as the firm’s heart and soul. We will miss him dearly.
Before joining Wood + Lamping, Joseph served as General Counsel to the United States Playing Card Company, the manufacturer of the well-known Bicycle® brand. As a well-respected lawyer with an extensive career,

Flottman
Augustus Flottman
joins Graydon’s Liti- gation Group. He specializes in pursuing and defending claims for business torts, breach of contract and fraud. Flott- man’s practice
  focuses on legal matters that arise in the inter- section of civil and white-collar criminal litigation. He also has experience representing defendants in some of the region’s most high-profile federal criminal jury trials on charges for white collar crimes such as wire fraud, bank fraud and money laundering. As a member of the Southern District of Ohio’s Criminal Justice Advocate program, Flottman accepts appointments from federal judges to represent indigent criminal defendants in federal court against charges for various crimes. Flottman earned his JD from Salmon P. Chase College of Law and is licensed to practice in Ohio.
