BakerHostetler LLP is pleased to announce that Joseph L. Brue- mmer has been promoted to partner. Bruemmer is a member of the firm’s Digital Assets and Data Management
role, he prosecuted housing and traffic ordi- nance violations and responded to various motions regarding these violations. Addition- ally, Boddy is skilled in defending city employees, has attended workplace discrimi- nation hearings and has written various motions on these employment and labor cases. Prior to his work at the City of Dayton, Boddy served as an intern with the Wayne County Prosecu- tor’s office (Michigan) and with the U.S. Attorneys’ offices.
    Haleigh Hopkins, Jordyn Lear, Gregory Bash- ford and Jesse Hockenbury have joined the BakerHostetler team serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC (BLMIS), an unprecedented recovery effort involving hundreds of actions. Hopkins received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law and her B.A. from The Ohio State University. Lear received her J.D. from Salmon P. Chase College of Law and her B.A. from Michigan State University. Bashford received his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law and his B.A. from Bellarmine University. Hocken- bury received his J.D. from Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law, his M.B.A., M.S. and B.S. from Northern Kentucky University.

Leveraging his prior experience as a litigator and as assistant general counsel for a leading legal support services provider, he helps clients identify prac- tical, business-oriented solutions to data security incidents. He has handled a variety of matters involving ransomware, business email compromises, payment card compromises, inadvertent disclosures and wire fraud issues for clients in the technology, hospitality, restau- rant, retail, professional services, financial and educational sectors. Vincent D. Boddy, Jr. recently joined the law firm of Bricker & Eckler as an Associate on the Litigation team. Vince is an accom- plished litigator with specific expe- rience related to
Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) in the City of Cincinnati and Hamilton County, Ohio. The board is responsible for developing strategies to engage employers, employees, government, education, organized labor, and community-based organizations in a partnership to strengthen and expand the workforce resources of the region. Holden is chair of DBL Law’s Employment Law practice where she represents public and private employers in all facets of employment law. She earned a J.D. degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law, cum laude, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Franklin College of Indiana, cum laude. Holden is a lifelong Cincinnati resi- dent who also serves on the boards of CancerFree Kids, Interparish Ministries, and St. Charles Care Center. She is immediate past chair and current planning committee member of HR Collaborative and a former chair of Northern Kentucky SHRM.
