CBA Accepting Board Nominations
The Cincinnati Bar Association’s Nominating Committee is soliciting recommendations for nominees for election to certain officer and trustee positions to
commence at the CBA’s 2023 Annual Meeting. The committee requests nominations for the following positions:

VICE PRESIDENT: Automatically succeeds to president-elect and then to president. Must have been a trustee, secretary or treasurer within the five-year period immediately prior to the election.
SECRETARY: One-year term, limit of one term. Incumbent is ineligible for re-election.
TRUSTEE: General. Two-year term, limit of two consecutive terms. Five positions open with four incumbents eligible for re-election.
TRUSTEE:
Under 12 Years of Practice. Two-year term, limit of two consecutive terms. Incumbent is ineligible for re-election.
TRUSTEE: Corporate Trustee. Two-year term, limit of two consecutive terms. Incumbent is ineligible for re-election.
TRUSTEE: ABA Delegate. Two-year term, limit of three consecutive terms. Incumbent is eligible for re-election.

WANTED: Committee Volunteers The CBA is soliciting volunteers to serve a
three-year term on the Awards Committee.
• The Awards Committee identifies and reviews candidates for CBA awards and makes award recommendations to the CBA Board of Trustees.
• The committee typically meets once a year, prior to the CBA Annual Meeting.
• Please send submissions to Maria Palermo at mpalermo@ cincybar.org by December 9, 2022.
The CBA is also soliciting volunteers to serve a two-year term on the Nominating Committee.
• The committee selects and recommends nominees for the CBA Board of Trustees and CBA ABA Delegate
• The committee typically meets once a year in February.

Legal Aid Seeks Board Nominees
The Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati would like to identify CBA members who might be interested in serving on the Board of Trustees. Legal Aid is a not-for-profit law firm dedicated to reducing poverty and promoting family stability by providing effective legal services in a seven-county southwest Ohio region.
