First Year Mock Interviews
BLAC-CBA Round Table hosted mock interviews for first-year law students from
UC College of Law and NKU Salmon P. Chase College of Law. The event, held
at Dinsmore, provided 1L students the opportunity to practice their interview
skills with experienced attorneys and receive feedback in a professional
setting.

ENVIRONMENTAL LAW COMMITTEE
CHAIR
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I didn’t have a concrete idea of what I wanted to be growing up,
but with parents who are a coal mining engineer and an attorney,
environmental law attorney felt like a natural fit.
Tell us about your favorite vacation.
My favorite vacation was visiting Maui and the Big Island of
Hawaii, especially exploring Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.
Tell us about an important lesson you’ve
learned during your law career.
One of the most important lessons I’ve learned is the value of
mentorship. Having experienced attorneys willing to share their
time, guidance, and knowledge has been invaluable, and I’m
deeply grateful to those who helped teach me environmental law
and supported my development along the way.
What are you goals for this year as Chair?
My goal is to plan events that bring our members together
through engaging CLEs and meaningful social opportunities,
and to strengthen connections within the group.
