Alphonso Taft: Attorney, Judge, Community Leader and Founder of a Family Tradition of Public Service Wednesday, May 18 | 4 p.m.
Join former Ohio Governor Bob Taft as he tells the story of Alphonso Taft, first President of the CBA and a leading citizen of Cincinnati in the early 19th century — describing his career as a respected attorney and judge, his famous judicial opinion, his work in founding important Cincinnati institutions and his state and national role as an early leader in the Republican Party. He established a tradition of public service that has continued through five generations of the Taft family.
