District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Greene worked as a summer associate at KMK Law in 2022. She earned her B.A. from the University of Kentucky in 2020. Greene is admitted to practice law in Ohio. Hardy is a member of the firm’s Business Representation & Transactions Group. Hardy earned his law degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, summa cum laude, in 2023, where he graduated first in his class. While in law school, Hardy served as a judicial extern for the Honorable William O. Bertelsman, United States District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky. Hardy served as a summer asso- ciate at KMK Law in 2022. He earned his B.B.A. from Eastern Kentucky University, magna cum laude, in 2019. Hardy is admitted to practice law in Ohio. Michel practices in the firm’s Real Estate Group where she advises clients on a wide variety of commercial real estate and business transactions, including the acquisition, sale, financing, development, and leasing of commer- cial properties. Michel earned her J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2022, where she served as the editor for the Univer- sity of Cincinnati Law Review and as President for the Student Bar Association. After her first year of law school, Michel served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Beth Myers, Judge for the Ohio First District Court of Appeals. Michel earned her B.B.A. in Finance from The George Washington University. Michel worked as a summer associate at KMK Law in 2021. Michel is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
Ulmer & Berne will be combining with fellow Midwest regional law firm Greensfelder Hemker & Gale effective February 1, 2024. The new firm, called UB Greensfelder, will be a super-regional firm with approximately 275 lawyers. UB Greensfelder will offer a practice mix and industry expertise that is significantly deeper and broader than what either firm currently possesses. The expanded platform builds strength-on-strength in corporate transactions, business litigation, financial services, real estate, and health care, as well as in several other prac- tice areas where both firms have practices with outstanding reputations. In addition to our current offices in Cleveland; Columbus, Ohio; Cincinnati; New York; Washington, DC; and Florida, we will gain offices in St. Louis and Southern Illinois.

Finney Law Firm welcomes Attorney Samantha B. Isaacs. Sam graduated summa cum laude from Northern Kentucky Universi- ty’s Chase College of Law in the spring of 2023 and was admitted to the
Kentucky bar this fall. She joins our Labor and Employment Department headed by Stephen E. Imm. Prior to law school, Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Orga- nizational Leadership, summa cum laude, from Northern Kentucky University and was the recipient of the NKU Public Relations Student Recognition Award. Additionally, Sam is a committed volunteer for the Special Olympics through her parish, and enjoys baking, boating, and camping. In order to “Make a Difference” for our clients, we strive to invest in high-quality candidates and the addition of Sam is a signif- icant and tangible part of that commitment.
