author nathaniel sizemore
When he’s not practicing law, Nathaniel Sizemore uses his
knowledge to compose elaborate legal thrillers. His debut
novel, Deadly Division (2021), was named a finalist for the
Hawthorne Prize, an annual award for best work of fiction
presented by the American Writing Awards. Sizemore’s
second book, The Cohort, hit #1 on Amazon’s New Release
Legal Thriller list on its launch day. He’s currently working
on his third installment of his David Stoneman book series,
which is set to be released in 2027.
Sizemore attended Thrillerfest XX in NYC in June where he was able to network with thriller fiction legends.
CALL Now
Accepting
Applications
The CBA is accepting appli-
cations for the 2026 Cincinnati
Academy of Leadership for Lawyers
(CALL), an innovative program
focusing on practical, ethical, and
professional issues facing lawyers.
Each winter, 25-32 attorneys are
selected to participate in CALL.
By training lawyers in leadership,
professionalism, and community
service, CALL provides a lasting
impact that reaches beyond the
bench and bar. More than 500
lawyers have graduated from CALL;
many of these lawyer-leaders are
now serving in community courts,
non-program boards, and law-re-
lated organizations.
CALL’s mission is to cultivate,
empower and inspire a diverse
class of lawyers to realize their full
leadership potential. Lawyers will
participate in a series of collabo-
rative and experiential programs
focused on developing their unique
leadership skills and motivating
them to put these leadership skills
to work in our community.
CALL is open to attorneys
who have been in practice for
5-15 years and who graduated law
school between 2010 and 2020.
Participants are required to attend
monthly sessions between January
and May and complete a class
service project.
