Dinner and Drinks with the Judge?
No, it’s not ex parte, it’s Inn of Court. The Potter Stewart Inn of Court is hoping to return to in person meetings for the 2021-22 season on September 21, with an outdoor networking reception. The Inn provides opportunities for participants to meet monthly with local judges and attorneys to discuss the fine points of litigation practice, starting with dinner or a cocktail hour, followed by an hour of CLE. The Inn is open to all, with a graduated fee structure and scholarship opportunities.
Dues for the Inn are:
• Judiciary - $300 (optional)
• Masters of the Bench (attorneys with 15 or more years in practice) - $400 • Barristers (attorneys with 4-14 years in practice) - $300
• Associates (attorneys with 1-3 years in practice) - $150
Dues includes attendance at all meetings and social events. Each Inn member is encouraged to attend regularly and actively participate in the meetings of the Inn and with their assigned pupilage group.

If you are interested in joining the Inn, please email your resume to Kate Lawrence at the CBA, Klawrence@cincybar.org, and submit your dues payment by credit card online by logging into your CBA Member Portal and clicking “Membership Add-Ons.”
Seeking Nominees for Awards and Nominating Committees
The CBA is soliciting nominees/volunteers to serve a three-year term on the Awards Committee. The Awards Committee identifies and reviews candidates for CBA awards and makes award recommendations to the CBA Board of Trustees. The committee typically meets once a year, prior to the CBA Annual Meeting. Please send submissions to Maria Palermo at mpalermo@cincybar.org by October 31, 2021.
The CBA is also soliciting nominees/volunteers to serve a two-year term on the Nominating Committee. The committee selects and recommends nominees for the following appointments:
• CBA Board of Trustees • CBA ABA Delegate
