With the conclusion of the MyCare CMS Demonstration project, the Ohio Department of Medicaid is preparing to
transition dual eligible Medicare Medicaid beneficiaries into a fully integrated dual eligible special needs plans that are
subject to Next Generation program requirements. This event will discuss the legal framework for this new program
and what we know about the Next Generation updates. It will also discuss recent updates to CMS regulations on
Medicare prior authorization rules, observation status appeals, and Medicare and Medicaid marketing rules.
