Chicken flautas. My family started making them as a Christmas tradition when I was young, so I have lots of happy memories of making these as a family, and it takes the whole family to make them timely! Now my kids help make the ingredients.
I did a year with AmeriCorps when I graduated from undergrad. It was my first time working in a non-profit environment and made me realize I wanted to do something that could help advocate on an individual and policy/legislative level. A public interest attorney seemed like a good fit for those goals. Helping individual clients solve their problems while also identifying and working towards rectifying systemic issues is very fulfilling!
Continuing to consistently provide relevant CLE opportunities and informational meetings on the topic of elder and special needs law throughout the year by hosting six bi-monthly (usually on the second Thursday of the month), encouraging members to offer their ideas for topics by offering food at our annual planning meeting in November, and encouraging members to join the leadership of the practice group.
