CLE Requirements

Ohio

Active attorneys and attorneys registered for corporate status must complete and report 24 hours of accredited CLE activities every two years. Full-time judges must complete and report 40 hours of accredited CLE activities, and magistrates and part-time judges must complete and report 24 hours of accredited CLE activities every two years. Judges and magistrates also have a Judicial College requirement.

Kentucky

Each year, Kentucky attorneys are required to complete 12 credit hours of CLE activities, including a minimum of 2 credit hours devoted to ethics, professional responsibility and professionalism. All CLE activities must be completed by June 30 of each year.

Kentucky attorneys are to self-report their CLE credit using the Kentucky Bar Association’s Member CLE Portal.
